ALPHA PRIME MIO® is water borne epoxy primer whose rheology has been engineered to wet out and seal tight rust. ALPHA PRIME MIO® penetrates deep into tight rust forming an effective vapour barrier thereby effectively arresting the corrosion process. The cured membrane is tough, durable, extremely flexible and totally seamless. The addition of Micaceous Iron Oxide and proprietary high performance sacrificial fillers make this coating product surface tolerant and compatible with most coal tar epoxies.
